TRANSPARENCY IN SUPPLY CHAIN DISCLOSURES

As an original equipment manufacturer, Aclara Technologies LLC is sensitive to the human injustices suffered by laborers in the world and, as such, will not do business with any vendor or other business partner that it knows to be involved in human trafficking or slavery. However, as Aclara Technologies LLC does not believe such practices to occur in its industry, Aclara Technologies LLC does not, at this time, engage in any third party or internal verification of product supply chains to evaluate and address risk of human trafficking and slavery, conduct audits of suppliers to evaluate supplier compliance with company standards for trafficking and slavery in supply chains, or require direct suppliers to certify that materials incorporated into the product comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country or countries in which they are doing business. Aclara Technologies LLC does not at this time actively maintain internal accountability standards and procedures for employees or contractors failing to meet company standards regarding slavery and trafficking, or provide company employees or management, having direct responsibility for supply chain management, training on human trafficking and slavery, particularly with respect to mitigating risks within the supply chains of its products. Should human trafficking or slavery become a legitimate concern in its industry in the future, Aclara Technologies LLC will revisit this policy and consider changing it to address this concern.
